Week of May 11th

Hello Everyone,

We hope everyone had a great weekend! We hope all the mother’s had a great Mother’s day!

We have lots of resources for everyone this week. This first one is a great online video book library! Our class loved watching several of the books on this platform. Be sure to check out I am Dirty and I am Brave! The students loved learning about the garbage truck and fire engines!

Bookflix is being offered to support Pre-K-2nd grade remote learning! Please use the username and password listed below to access our free district-wide account.

Username: Learning20

Bookflix can be accessed on all types of devices at https://bookflix.digital.scholastic.com/.

This license is valid until June 30, 2020.

The next resource is for all of the Jim Gill fans (that fun pattern song we did during our Wednesday meet- up)! During the school year we did our own extension of his storybook and song in our classroom. Many of you may remember our display near the entry in our classroom. Please go to:

to enjoy a new kid made version of this song. The drawings and words were kid generated. Hopefully this will inspire the kids to make a new “May There Always Be….drawing! Please remember to share on Class Dojo!

The next two resources are for families who many need some supplement food (and don’t forget meals can be picked up at Ray each weekday from 9-1) or some extra support with mental wellness during this time. Please go to these links for more information.

We hope to see everyone Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for whole group learning and during our weekly breakfast meetings!

Best,

Ms. Bethanie & Ms. Maggie
