Week of March 30th

Dearest Families,

We miss you and hope you are all maintaining good physical health, as well as emotional health. Please find a list of enrichment resources below. All activities are optional and should be used as you see fit. Please prioritize time to connect, play and read with your child above all else. We are learning more about how remote learning will function for our youngest learners and will keep you updated.

If you are not connected on ClassDojo, please email me directly, as I will be using that platform to connect with families throughout the week.

“If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” by Laura Numeroff
At dinner or at bedtime, make a habit of reflecting together about the events of your child’s day. Ask questions like: What was the first thing you did after you woke up this morning? What did you do before lunch? What did you do between playing and dinnertime?

Set up your own free account at Learning Without Tears. This account will allow you to access some of our favorite songs for learning and routines.
Please find The Crayon Song on the Music tab of the Resources page. Have your child sing along and practice writing or coloring using the proper finger grip.

Have your child complete the “Aim and Scribble” page using proper grip. Make sure to have your child put down their crayon multiple times and practice picking up their crayon with the proper grip.
